Groom’s
cakes offer a myriad of possibilities and are becoming more
and more popular. They range from the traditional chocolate
cakes with fresh or sugared fruit to intricately designed
cake sculptures. They are usually served at the wedding
reception along with the wedding cake or they are given
their own place of honor at the rehearsal dinner. Some
groom’s cakes are designed to complement the wedding cake,
such as a design similar to the wedding cake, but in
chocolate. Sometimes it is a simple cheesecake topped with
chocolate dipped strawberries. Other times it is a unique
creation. There is a trend toward trying to outdo each
other for something new and different. The possibilities
are endless as we receive more and more unusual requests.
